Job Description

This occupation includes positions involved in supervising or performing clerical and technical work in support of management analysis and program analysis, the purposes of which are to evaluate and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of organizations and programs. The work requires a practical knowledge of the purposes, methods, and techniques of management analysis and/or program analysis and the structures, functions, processes, objectives, products, services, resource requirements, and similar features of Government programs and organizations.

Clerical, secretary, and administrative positions fall under this category. No specialized technical background is needed for positions in this category except for stenographers which require a proficiency exam before being hired.
